Our 19th release revisits Greg Tomaz's debut EP "Alchemic Substance" for remix edition. Originally released in late 2016, Greg's debut EP on the label featured "Alchemic Angels" & "The Substance of Feeling", both showcasing his versatility & musical frame of mind as an electronic music producer. For this pack, we called in some of the finest underground progressive producers to narrate their own story, all making their debut appearance on Juicebox Music.

Argentina's Nicolás Ciampone, better known as Ape Sapiens, is a relatively new producer having had his first release in 2015. Ever since, his uniquely fresh sound has gotten him on labels like Stellar Fountain, Clinique, PHW Elements and Stripped Digital to name a few. His remix of "The Substance of Feeling" kicks off the pack with a percussive filled groove, a seriously funky bassline, soft melodic fills & riffs, all with an attitude to strike attention, and he's definitely done so. The second remix comes from UK's John McDermott, aka Alfonso Muchacho, a current household name in every progressive DJ's set. His impressive catalogue includes features on Slideways, Superordinate, Bonzai Progressive, ICONYC & many more fantastic labels. Alfonso Muchacho is one not to shy away from delivering the unexpected, and a prime example would be this subtle yet dark melodic techno rendition of "The Substance of Feeling" with a percussive drive, drone bass, pulsing synths & haunting pads.

The first to give "Alchemic Angels" a go is Turkish extraordinaire - Erdi Irmak. With exemplary releases on Sound Avenue, Particles, Northern Lights & Movement Recordings through his profiency in deep, tech, progressive & even the electronica space, Erdi has the right to call himself a true genre-breaking electronic music producer. His interpretation follows a combination of the lot, with a bouncy tech-inspired groove, psychedelic sci-fi effects, wonky synth-lines and a smooth melodic riff that gels the entire piece together. Finally Polish rising star Marcin Bocianski, aka Marboc, closes the pack with a bang. His influences draw from both the progressive & techno world, earning spots on Egothermia, Electronic Tree & Clubsonica. Carefully utilizing the original parts, his techno-driven version of "Alchemic Angels" is a dark, chunky & tension filled floor-focused weapon.
